Bryan and myself hopped on Ari's vehicle together with Charles (iPad navigator), it had a lot of leg room!
Ari was pointing to us all the cool places as we were traveling towards Hollywood, one of them was Los Angeles County Museum of Arts (LACMA) where Director Tim Burton had his work exhibited! Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride and Alice in Wonderland (which we watched a couple days ago) were some of my favourites.

Central Courtyard, where lots of stores are located.
There's a long balcony area on level 3 & 4 which has telescopes where people are trying to snap or catch a glimpse of the famous Hollywood sign!

Hollywood sign in the middle up on the mountains,
sorry that's the best my iPhone can do.

Arrived at ballroom where the career fair is!

That's Charles, a SESI intern graduated from SCAD!
He's awesome at shader programming too.

That's me, i was helping with the setting up too.
Ari was the camera man. Hehe.

Ari's Houdini Demonstration, if you are wondering what's on screen, it's a Copy SOP.

Legacy Effects

Managed to speak to one of the guys there, they worked on Iron Man 1 & 2, Avatar & Tron. All the Ironman suits were built by them and they are searching for hard-surface modelers and compositors!

Walt Disney Animation Studios
Although I wasn't planning to become an animator, wanted to talk to somebody from Disney!
Managed to speak to the lady on the right, her name is Stephanie (very courteous and beautiful lady) , she shared information on a summer training program (you will be paid) where anyone from around the world can apply for it. It may even be hired upon completion of the program if you fair well!

NYP SIDM Animation students, this is for you,

& by the way, she said what would really help is to have good animation reel and include your sketching/drawings, more importantly... have your own style of characters with good appeals. Might had missed some points, sorry for my poor memory!

Digital Domain
This studio was involved in production like Titanic (James Cameron), Transformers (Michael Bay) and many more.

The queue was really long, there were constantly more than a dozen people queuing to speak to the Digital Domain guys. Tried might my luck after a couple of hours and managed get one of their attention, they too offer training program but wasn't able to provide me details. Instead i was given a name card and was told to email them to receive more information!

end.
