Week 03 Day 23, 3rd July '11 (Sun)

Housekeeping Service #1
This day is finally here! Dust and feathers all over the floor, oil stains on the stove and the most disgusting part of the apartment goes to the toilet. Just glad the lady is here and everybody made a pact to keep the toilet as dry and clean as possible now onwards!

The lady and her daughter came together and you must be thinking, why is the daughter here! She has 2 roles, being a translator and assisting her mum with some chores. Her dad will actually fetch them home after they're done and they happen to leave pretty near Steven's place over at Westwood Boulevard which isn't far from here. Thanks to them, we have a clean living space again - hopefully we'll be able to maintain it!

Trip to Mitsuwa, Japanese Market Place
Tanner suggested to make a trip down to Mitsuwa today, took us 30 minutes + to get there.
The building is relatively small unlike Premium Outlets or Costco - they had a DVD rental store, bookstore mainly Japanese related articles, mini supermarket, toy store and food court.

Santa Monica Airport

Had pork cutlet curry, the curry was mild which suits me perfectly. Never like sweating after consuming spicy food! Pork cutlet wasn't dry, had to forced myself to eat up all the salads though.
Would recommend coming here if you're ever in LA.

Home Sweet Home
The film poster shows a man and a woman hugging over a picture of the Titanic's bow. In the background is a partly cloudy sky and at the top are the names of the two lead actors. The middle has the film's name and tagline, and the bottom contains a list of the director's previous works, as well as the film's credits, rating, and release date.

Turned on our television and Titanic was being aired! It was one of my favourite movies, not because only it was directed by James Cameron. The romantic portion of the whole plot and visual effects during that period of time is just amazing! FYI, Digital Domain was the studio creating the CGI and Houdini was used in Titanic.

Let me help everybody relive those moments, see here...

They are releasing Titanic in 3D in April 2012, very close to our graduation. Maybe the class can go catch it together? Hehe
