Week 06 Day 43, 23rd July '11 (Sat)

Fetching breakfast at Quiznos
Gatorade in America is known as "G", ordered a roasted turkey sandwich today!
Stopped by Ralphs
That's right, ice-creams here are really cheap.

Toasted honey mustard turkey sandwich, it's my favourite so try it if you ever go Quiznos, plus turkey is a healthier choice!

New Taiwanese Drama: Love Keeps Going (美樂加油)
Starring Cyndi Wang & Mike He

Image above from dazzlingmeteor.blogspot.com

Began watching this a couple days ago, this drama is both hilarious and romantic. I bet mostly girls watch it because of Mike He. I'll rate it 7/10! Click on the chinese character, it's a direct link to www.viki.com.

One of the scene showing Mike He's house in-drama, he had neat and spacious working area with collection of CDs & an iMac. Wished I had a room like this!

New skateboard getting new shoes (Rip City Skate)
As expected, still no new on my old skateboard - guess it's gone for good.
Traveled to Rip City Skate with Bryan as he is going to purchase a second skateboard, we met Jim, Earl and Bill again. Bought a set of bigger wheels for my ride, these small wheels which came with the board sucks for speed and are not efficient for cruising!

The guys at the store shares with us stuff about skateboards etc and the conversation kind of led to us showing them the work we do in school, showed them a handphone robot inspired by Transformers which me and Rap worked on more than 6 months ago.

New wheels and some random images I snapped as I was bored... hahaha.
This is where all the magic happens,
referring to updating of this blog and doing project research.

These are the slow wheels, i like the translucency but prefer speed better.
 They generate caustics!

Dishes, being GREEN & laundry!
Found out I tend to buy graphic designs especially vector type tee-shirts rather than shirts when I snapped this photo, mmm...

Stuff on amazon.com can be seriously cheap so don't miss out! Time to go shopping later.

Ari loaned us this book together with another one to help us finalize and improve our cameras/shots,
it's a pretty good book and i'm tempted to buy it on amazon.

That's Zhang Ziyi from the chinese movie - Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon which is also starring Chow Yun-Fat (The lead actor from Bulletproof Monk).

A chinese movie on the flight to LA
It was C'est la vie, mon chéri (新不了情, 1993). It was a romantic & sorrow movie which won a number of awards, love the song that kicks in during all the sad scenes and the was named the same as the movie,  新不了情 by 萬芳.

File:C'est la vie, mon chéri.jpg
HIGHLY RECOMMEND everyone to watch it if you haven't, relive the 90s Hong Kong movies!

Dinner - bought these potatoes at the farmer's market.
Tired so i'm not going to type anymore...

end.
