Seems like an American culture for families and friends to host parties and panics in neighborhood parks - Saw this over at Clover Park last week, this week i'm over at Virginia Park (where farmers market take place).
Back in Singapore, people do go to East Coast Park for such activities but you'll seldom see people do that in neighborhood ones like Bishan or Yishun Parks. Would be nice if we had the same culture where people start setting up tables, chairs or even tentages and have a fun weekend and be carefree.

Was at Mitsuwa buying some snacks and came across this store on the 2nd storey where all kinds of parties necessities are available. You will see such stores on and off around Santa Monica or maybe through-out America which explains the culture I was talking about above!
Was skating along the broad road behind Santa Monica College. The inside of the College is a pretty pleasant place to skate but it's prohibited, it's a Saturday so nobody is going to catch you! Haha.
That's a lot of parking meters which you don't see in Singapore.
Brushing up the fur of a not so motivated police hound - look at dog's expression "=_=", he was a polite officer!
Grabbing a bite
Spotted this little place along Pico Boulevard, giving it a try... I ordered sweet & sour pork but it's nothing close to the ones back home at some zi-char store or restaurant... 3.5/10.
You could still try, something else on the menu might be nice but i'm a little pessimistic about it. Haha.
They do offer free delivery if you hit a minimum of $15.00 though, it's an alternative if you're feeling extremely lazy that day.
end.
